lmao where does prince scumbag get off happily dancing with his fiance like he isn’t trying to fuck her nasty brother?? i know dancing with her is the expected thing to do at their literal engagement party or w/e, but he doesn’t even have the decency to look conflicted?? he’s having a great time out there! somebody poison him, right now
As a comic artist I appreciate the need to simplify your style, all that grey tone can drive you nuts! You’re absolutely selling the characters, though I think that the Satyr’s darkened areas of fur will be somewhat missed. Most importantly though, excluding Emin, Freya and their family’s darkened skin tones feels a bit like erasure of inclusivity. I would rethink that part, otherwise it works great and I’m really enjoying the intricacies of the story so far!

That did occur to me, but (similarly to the Satyr’s fur) I’m hoping people will be able to remember that they are POC from the earlier pages, and from colour art that I do of the cast (Emin will get to star on the cover of one of the books, which should make it obvious to readers lol). I do have some upcoming characters who are darker skinned than these characters and I will be toning them 🙂
