It’s such a uncanny situation because they are giggling kicking their feet like two schoolboys discovering their sexuality and gossiping about it, but they are people with POWER and their decisions have a direct impact on the people under them, and I mean under because of hierarchical nature of the worldbuilding. Based on Emin’s relatively mild reaction, I’m wondering now how taboo human x satyr relationships are among human nobility. is emin just a freak who doesnt gaf abt social norms more than he can manipulate people with them? or is it so normal for people in power to abuse satyr / use them for entertainment that it doesnt matter that much behind closed doors? obviously it matters, or vasilis & the king wouldnt be such a state secret but atp im wondering if thats more to avoid public outrage / maintain status quo than bc its super stigmatized by elites themselves
